Marie-Christine von Hahn is Vice President Corporate External Affairs of Aurubis AG, multimetal producer and one of the largest copper recyclers worldwide. The company with headquarter in Hamburg and six smelters in Europe is currently building the first multimetal recycling plant in the State of Georgia, USA. Marie-Christine is responsible for the group’s advocacy, its political positioning and strategy. Until 2015, she was deputy representative of German oil and gas producer Wintershall in Berlin. Before that, she worked as a research assistant to a member of the Bundestag. She studied Hispanic, English and American Studies in Potsdam, Berlin and Barcelona.
