The International Copper Association (ICA) has announced the appointment of Sophie Kellerman of Glencore as the new Chair of ICA’s Communications and Sustainability Council.
Sophie brings extensive industry expertise, a collaborative leadership approach, and a strong vision for advancing ICA’s communications and sustainability engagement efforts. ICA welcomed her appointment as the organization continues to strengthen its global voice and support the growing role of copper in electrification and sustainable development.
ICA also extended its sincere appreciation to Carolina Pica of Antofagasta Minerals for her years of dedicated leadership as Council Chair. Throughout her tenure, Carolina played an important role in advancing ICA’s communications initiatives and supporting the association’s broader mission.
As ICA continues to grow, the association looks forward to building on this strong foundation while continuing to promote, protect, and defend copper worldwide.
