Ladji Tikana manages sustainability projects and copper life cycle assessments for the Material Stewardship (MS) global team. In this role, he supports members in their efforts to produce copper sustainably. Applying his background as a production engineer and his PhD in Material Science, Ladji is involved in developing methods to assess sustainability indicators for copper production and copper products.
Ladji is committed to helping stakeholders understand the fuller picture of copper’s availability and potential through his work on a copper life cycle database using real industry data. This database helps customers and policymakers make informed decisions about critical raw materials and avoid reliance on underdeveloped assessment methods.
